The Rooms

In our Bed & Breakfast, we offer three bedrooms, featuring American beds and American mattresses. Each room comes with private or ensuite bath, all equipped with shower and some with shower and bathtub, decorated with handpainted tiles from Portugal.

Rooms vary in size from 15 to 20 square meters (abt. 160 to 220 sq.ft.). Large built-in closets, fine cotton sheets, luxurious towels. And this is aimed at offering you a comfortable and relaxing stay in standards equivalent to your home, away from generic services and tourist traps.

This is quality accommodation, and no budget sleeping quarters or anonymous hotel rooms. In this Luxury B&B you eat from Sterling silverware and Wedgewood porcelain. If you are looking for that touch of luxury,that Gem, the home away from home, you've found the right place.
An abundance of fresh, tropical flowers are waiting for you.

The apartment features large double pane windows from Germany(almost unheard of in street-noisy Rio),elegant hardwood parquet floor of an era gone by,and offers a library, cable TV (CNN, BBC, RAI etc.), video / DVD, new broadband internet access and central air conditioning (no noisy window units), two bicycles.

The Lounge and Living Room are decorated in a mediterranean style, incorporating a more formal dining area, comfortable sofas and armchairs, antique mirrors. And you can even end your day, or sleep in a HAMMOCK on the varanda, enjoying a drink while the sun sets.
Your Hostess has achieved a comfortable blend of the old Brazil and modern day comfort.

La proprietaria parla benissimo l'inglese, e' gentilissima e ti fa sentire come a casa. La casa e' decisamente lussuosa con una bellisima living room, la camera e i bagni con piastrelle direttamente dal Portogallo! La colazione e' ricchissima.
